Panache, an award-winning British lingerie company, has recently relocated to a new headquarters in Sheffield to accommodate growing world-wide demand for its products. Ability Handling were called in to help facilitate the firms warehouse make-over.

Busting at the Seams! - Panache required the new warehouse to maximise its storage capacity and the distribution centre to be as efficient as possible, effectively the Panache 'wish list' was to fit a 'DD' size facility into a 'AA' size cup without compromising the busy firms operational flexibility and increasing volumes of product throughput!

Can we Help? - A call from Nick, the Logistics Manager at Panache to the Ability sales office and our experienced and professional team rolled into action. One thorough site survey later and Ability Handling were able to provide Panache management with several detailed warehouse layout proposals; all clearly illustrated via our free CAD drawing service.

A perfect fit and Room to Breath! - The two new Aisle-Masters recommended and supplied by Ability Sales Manager, Lee Brown have enabled Panache to double its storage capacity by using narrow pallet racking aisles to increase the warehouse bulk storage space. Another vital benefit to the operation has been the ability to achieve its increase in bulk pallet storage without shrinking the equally important piece picking areas. 

Creating Value - Additional costs were cut by replacing the role of the pre-existing counterbalance forklift truck with the Aisle-Masters which are equally at home outside in the yard performing the loading/off loading duties; Panache's verdict? The sales and service team at Ability Handling have supported us in all the right areas and the Aisle-Masters they supplied have proved to be real workhorses and a highly flexible bit of kit, all in all a perfect fit!
