Ability Handling Ltd have the following vacancies:

Service Administrator

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Service Administrator within our busy Parts and Service Department. Duties will include processing of time sheets for payroll and job sheets through to invoicing, taking service calls, liaising with Customers and obtaining order numbers, preparing documents and reports for the Service Manager, the establishment and upkeep of files and records associated with our ISO 9001 Quality system, and an interesting variety of ad-hoc functions covering periods of staff sickness and holidays in other departments.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Job Title:            SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR

Reporting to:               Service Manager

Subordinates:              None

Main purpose of job:

To establish and maintain the Service database and other specified records.

To provide support to the Service and Parts Coordinators

 

Key Responsibilities

1          To process customer enquiries and orders related to the provision of Service activities

2          To implement the purchasing process.

3          To support the Service Controller to plan and monitor on-site and Workshop service             activities.

4          To verify on receipt purchased products/supplies

5          To control the returns of products/supplies to the supplier

6          To advise the Service Manager in the event of a nonconformity or customer complaint

7          To control the despatch of products/supplies and/or equipment

8          To establish and maintain specified quality records.

9          To perform other tasks as directed by the Service Manager.

Qualifications – Experience of standard microsoft office programs (word, excel) required and a good basic level of maths and english, clerical experience would be an advantage. Role specific and product training will be provided.

Remuneration – Competative Basic salary plus Healthcare & Company Pension Scheme available to qualifying full time staff.
